These flaxseed crackers are so healthy! They are low carb, Keto, gluten free, sugar free, vegan and you need only one bowl to make them. These healthy flax seed crackers are great as a snack or spread some jam on them and serve as a dessert.

Healthy Flaxseed Crackers | Low Carb & Gluten Free Crackers

Ingredients
 

  • 2 cup 300g Flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 2 cups 480ml Water
  • Other spices if desired

Instructions
 

  • DIRECTIONS
    1. In a large bowl, mix raw flax seeds, salt, oregano, other spices if desired and water.
    2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
    3. Preheat oven to 250F (120C). line a baking pan with parchment paper or silicone pastry mat.
    4. Stir the flax seed mixture, then pout onto the baking tray. Thinly spread the batter, then score using a knife into small rectangles.
    5. Bake the crackers until dark and firm to touch, about 1¾ After 30 minutes, take the crackers out and score them again.
    6. Cut/break the crackers into rectangles, at the place you made the first cut.
    7. Allow to cool completely.
    Notes:
    HOW TO STORE FLAXSEED CRACKERS?
    Store flaxseed cracks in an airtight container up to 3 weeks in the pantry.
    HOW TO SERVE FLAXSEED CRACKERS?
    You can eat them as is, without any additions along with a cup of tea or coffee. Or, spread over the crackers some jam, peanut butter, almond butter, hummus. Or, alternatively serve with your favorite dip; tzatziki, guacamole, yogurt, black bean dip etc.
    WHAT CAN WE ADD TO THE CRACKERS?
    To make these flaxseed crackers more flavorful you can add more spices like: black pepper, onion powder, dried herbs, paprika, cayenne and more. You also can add few tablespoons of sesame seeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds and more.
