Ingredients
 

  • 10 z 280g shrimp, peeled and divined
  • 8 oz 230g linguine or spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2-3 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3 tablespoons 45g butter
  • ¼ cup 60ml dry white wine
  • ¼ cup 60ml fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of one lemon
  • ¼ cup 25 grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions
 

  • DIRECTIONS
    1. Bring large pot with water to a boil. Add salt. Add pasta and cook to al dente according to package directions. Drain when ready.
    2. Meanwhile: in a large skillet heat olive oil, add shrimp, season with salt and pepper. Cook until pink and slightly curled. About 1-2 minutes on each side.
    3. Add garlic, pepper flakes, and cook for 1 minute. Add butter to the pan, let melt stirring occasionally. Add white wine, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Cook until reduced by half.
    4. Add drained pasta, chopped parsley and parmesan cheese. Toss to coat.
    5. Serve immediately.
