Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Bars Recipe

These peanut butter banana bars are healthy and guilt free dessert that you can eat when you are on a diet. These delicious bars are easy to make, gluten free and doesn’t contain refined sugar.

Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Bars Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Ripe bananas
- 1 cup 240g Natural peanut butter
- ¼ cup 23g Ground almonds
- ⅓ cup 80ml Maple syrup
- 1 Egg
- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch Salt
- ½ cup Chocolate chips
Instructions
- DIRECTIONS
- Prepare the pan: line a 8-inch (20cm) square baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 325F (160c).
- Peel the bananas, place them in a large bowl, then, mash them using a fork. Add egg and whisk until combined. Add peanut butter, ground almonds, maple syrup, cinnamon (optional), baking soda and salt. Miz until combined.
- Pour the batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes in the pan, the release from the pan and allow to cool completely.
- Cut into bars and serve.









Made these as a desert for guests, and our son in law, who is GF loved them along with everyone else! Delicious!
