- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Looks like a winner. In this video there is a recipe error. It says 300 g of condensed milk, should read
I cup of c. milk.
There is no error. 1 c. sweetened condensed milk weighs 288-300g. Measuring by weight – and with the Metric System – is far more accurate than by volume.

This was a complete mess. The viscosity & thickness of the sweetened condensed milk is such that you would need a higher quantity of the desiccated coconut for a mix that can be handled. With these proportions it’s a sticky gloopy mess.
Even after freezing for ages, it softens quickly upon exposure to room temperature hands. I tried to salvage it by adding cocoa powder & more desiccated coconut so that it would be malleable but alas.
I repurposed it by mixing the gloopy mix in the melted choc
Hi, I thought this recipe was perfect! I didn’t have any problems with the ratios that you put in the recipe, I froze them a little bit longer than an hour because I forgot about them so it was about 90 minutes. But then I added an almond on top of each, dipped them in chocolate and put them back in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. PERFECTION! BETTER THAN AN ALMOND JOY, OR A MOUNDS BAR BECAUSE I DIDN’T ADD ANY EXTRA SUGAR.
